Malaysia opened its first HSBC bank in 1884 in Penang. Interbank GIRO (IBG): This service allows customers to make payments and transfer funds from other banks. Outward payment can be done through MEPS IBG Outward Fund Transfer and inward fund transfer can be performed via MEPS IBG Inward Fund Transfer with a mouse click.
Self-Service Banking: This is a 24-hour service that includes the use of Automated Teller Machine (ATM), Express Cash Deposit Machine (ECDM), Check Deposit Machine and Check Scanning Machine (ChequeScan).
Telebanking: This service is available 24 hours a day and aims at solving customer queries and performing several banking tasks on their behalf.
HOUSe: Under this facility, customers can withdraw cash from any HSBC, Standard Chartered OCBC or UOB Bank ATMs.
Trustee Services: The bank serves as a trustee for the settlers and offers them various wealth solutions during their lifetime and also upon death. A trust fund may include cash, securities, shareholdings, real properties or other assets.
Will Writing: This service ensures that upon your death, your assets get distributed among your loved ones in a manner that you want
Interest Rates Updates: Under this service, customers are entitled to receive the latest interest rate updates on their HSBC deposit accounts.
