ING Bank, part of the ING Group BV (NYSE: ING), is a Dutch financial services establishment and was established in 1991. It is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. ING Direct, the new name for ING Bank is a virtual bank with offices in Canada, Australia, Italy, Spain, the US and the UK. ING Group is the 8th largest conglomerate in the world. It employs more than 125,000 professionals spread across 40 countries. 

ING Bank: Business Lines 

Retail Banking: ING Bank’s retail banking service lines are spread across countries such as the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, India and China. Private banking is offered in the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Central Europe.

ING Direct: ING Direct is the branchless direct banking entity of ING Group and is present in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the UK and the US. The primary products that are offered are savings accounts, mortgages, mutual funds and payment accounts.

Commercial Banking: ING provides commercial banking services for corporate entities and other institutions. ING Group’s commercial banking operations are largely concentrated in the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and Romania. The product offerings include cash management and corporate finance.

Insurance Europe: ING’s Insurance Europe is the market leader in life insurance and retirement services in the Netherlands and Belgium. In addition, Insurance Europe services also provide life insurance and asset management in various countries, such as Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and Greece.

Insurance Americas: ING Group’s Insurance Americas services provide insurance, investment, retirement and asset management products and services in North and South America. ING is a major player in the US retirement services segment in terms of assets held. The group is a leading pension company in a number of countries in South America.

Insurance Asia-Pacific: ING’s Insurance APAC services vertical deals in life insurance, asset management and wealth management services in the region. ING is the region’s second-largest international life insurer in nine countries. It has a strong presence in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong, and is growing rapidly in emerging economies such as India, China and Thailand.

ING Bank: Advertising and Sponsorship

ING Group is the major title sponsor of the F1 Renault team. ING also acquired the naming rights for the Australian Grand Prix and the Belgian Grand Prix.

ING has also been the main sponsors of the New York City marathon and the famous San Francisco footrace, Bay to Breakers.

ING is also a major sponsor of football, sponsoring the Dutch National Soccer Team and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
