Grenada is an island nation in the southeastern Caribbean Sea including the southern Grenadines. Series of fiscal reforms and prudent macroeconomic management have all contributed toward strong economic growth of the region. Construction and trade have helped in boosting the economic activity. Sometimes also called the spice island, the country along with seven other members of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States has a common central bank and a common currency.
