  • Balancing the rate of interest to highlight the commercial rate.

  • Egypt Ministry agriculture also envisages the balancing of foreign exchange rate to highlight the actual value of the local currency.
An extensive study conducted on the impacts of the Egypt Ministry agriculture industry reform policies on the development of agriculture in Egypt, suggest the positive response of the farmers to research conducted in agriculture, agricultural expansion, technology employed for agricultural development.
Statistics of Egypt Ministry of agriculture:
  • There was an increase in the area of cultivation from 6.2 million in the year 1982 to 8 million in the year 2000.
  • Cropped area increased from 11.2 million in the year 1982 to 14.8 million in the year 2000.
  • There was an increase in plant production value from L.E 3.5 billion in 1982 to approximately L.E 4 billion in the year 1999.
  • There was an increase in the income generated from agriculture from L.E 4.1 billion in the year 1982
