Earlier, the measures to reform land ownership was sufficient for attaining the objectives of the agrarian reform. However, with increasing complexity, increase in income as well as production, the need for measures to reform land management is increasingly being felt. These farmers are totally unaware of the new weather conditions and the condition of the soil in the new area. As part of the management program, these farmers are made aware of the same.
Once agricultural production increases, working up marketing strategies is also taken care of as part of the management program. There are times, when banks refuse to grant loans to the farmers. To add to the agony, if the title rights have not been set straight, then availing a mortgage loan is next to impossible. All the above drawbacks are taken care of by the land management programs.
